Hildy Mulligan is a homicide inspector working for the SFPD. She was partnered with Terry English, who she kissed once. She was previously married to Mike Mulligan, who was the father of her daughter Louise. She also had a brother called Junior McCormack.
She was put on mandatory leave for a week after she was involved in an officer-involved shooting after she shot the father of a witness in Kevin Neyers' murder when she saw him commiting domestic violence.
